I was also worried about the hatching tray in the 1502 being so small... Is the dickey's hatching tray bigger??? The 1502 seems to small for hatching geese eggs....????

any experiance with that???

No geese, but I've hatched turkey & peafowl eggs.

Turkey eggs, no problem at all. When we hatched African geese, we had to keep the eggs in the centre of the turner so it wouldn't get banged as it turned. As for hatching, no issue with size at all.

Chickens, Pheasants, Peafowl, Quail, & Turkeys at the same time. I have to keep a log book, & mark my eggs, just to keep everything straight.

I vote sportsman as well. I sold ours when we moved, and now I wish I had it back.

It's really nice if you can get a sportsman incubator and separate sportsman "hatcher." Everything stays so much cleaner in the incubator that way and you have LOTS of room.
