Which type Ameraucana?

She has the wrong color legs for a true Ameraucana. She's an Easter Egger. I have one similar in coloring, and she lays blue eggs. Her "sister" lays light olive.

FYI, wheaton/blue wheatons are one of the rare colors of AMs. Usually harder to find breeders in this color. If you're not paying around $10/each for SR, most likely an EE. Alway ask to see parent stock photos and compare to the AMs club websites.

Oh, that's really good to know! I'd never thought to ask for documentation! In this case it was just a combination of my naivete about breeds mixed with incorrect signage at the feed store. They had them as Ameraucanas, not type specific but as a general breed brooder. My other chick has the grey feet of an Ameraucana but the standard color variety of reddish black.
