Monday on Dr.Oz, he was saying there were health benefits to drinking white wine. I wasn't paying close attention, so I don't know details.

Imp lives by the motto: If 1 glass is good for you than 4, 5 or 6 must be better- right?

Thank you for the posts. I stopped eating meat for a while and lost a few pounds, and while my total C,LDL,and TRI went down my HDL also dropped(56 to 45).Doc said exercise, take niacin, and drink some wine to get the HDL back up. I read it will drop but should rise again over time. Wine is not really in our budget, but a (cheaper)bottle a month should be ok.To bad I can't use my green grapes. I don't remember if any of my new plants are reds.I will still enjoy them all on my own since family is used to seedless fruits.

I never heard of blueberry wine.Yum! According my the wine/beer making book I snagged at the library resale (1970 book) there is an endless possibility of wines.I recall dandelion and parsnips among others.

I tried both the dandelion and parsnip...............
Dandelion made my allergies flair up and parsnip, well lets just say parsnip is best served mashed with carrots and potatoes, not wine.
