Squirrel watches his mentor Ash perform some wicked crazy fighting moves. Squirrel is jealous but doesn't mind that he's not as good a fighter. Suddenly he comes up with a great idea. After sending a puny she-cat packing, he scampers off, quick as a squirrel, and hops up to the top branch of a small tree.
Doe licks her kits, Dawn and Petal. "Be safe, little ones. I must fight now. Our Tribe needs every fighter it can get."

Meadow shot a quick glance at Bat. "Can you fight well? I can't."

Wind nodded, and danced in circles. "Well, lets go then! Our tribe needs you!"
 
Meadow hardly hesitated for Bat to follow her back through the undergrowth. He didn’t understand how much they needed him.

Bat is Embers mate, he saved her from rogue camp, large tom (Shadowblaze and Embers father) attacked Cherry who was killing Shadowblaze, now camp is under attack, Bat saved Embers from some mean guards, Wind and Meadow (and others) went to save Embers but didn't need to so now they are going to help in camp
