Sand and Rumble both sighed heavily in tandem and as the Sphynx led his fluffy half breed children into the thicket to find their mother, Rumble reluctantly followed Lightning and the others towards the little encampment of dens. It was not a short journey and he was not looking forward to it at all.

Frog shared a look with Frosty; lowering his own hackles before nodding slowly. “If that’s the only way to bring Cherry home. And I don’t think there is a way to prevent her from following us now anyway.” He flicked a tail at the determined feline, who was sauntering ahead and waving her tail.

Frosty nodded. He was fearful of the strange cat; but even more fearful of her trying to talk to him. He wasn't much good at talking.

Frog decided to try and make conversation with the bizarre parade of cats of differing shapes of whom he supposed he was related to if only by his sisters odd choice of toms.
“So, have you found any prey around here? We’re looking to expand our territory into these here areas.” He didn’t mention that they prey pile was pretty much completely empty, despite the fact that there were cats in his tribe trained particularly for hunting, like himself. Honestly he just needed to work a little bit harder.
It’s not like the fighters have much to do around here.
Excuses, Frog,
he chided himself excuses.
