Whistling

Hello,

I'm a chicken newbie that recently got a Blue Andalusian and Buff Orpington. They are around two months old. The Blue Andalusian is beginning to make a whistle sound. Sometimes it is high pitched and annoying while othertimes almost sounds like a songbird. I'm hoping we don't have a rooster. I've seen the info about the goose "honk honk" noises but nothing about the whistle. Any info?

My chicken Diver use to whistle and sing like a song bird. Its one of the reasons I tried so hard to make him live....

my Roosters whistle.....its sorta a sad sound...like crying...mourning sound....goes right through me!
