I was actually told the white one was a roo when it was a couple weeks old but at about 6-8 weeks Im beginning to think Pullet. Either way Im keeping it. Quality wise what does everyone think? Thanks

look like pullets do you have a close up of the white ones comb it could be a roo

How old are they and do you have a side view of "#2" to show feather coloring. So far they look like pullets (but white chickens are notorious for being late to pin down). As for quality. It appears that the white's legs are green not slate gray and therefore disqualifies if from being an Americauna. If it is slate, sorry, just looked green in pics.

The white is roughly 2 1/2 maybe closer to 3 months old and the grey/white is close to 2 months old I think. Ill have to try to get a side view of #2. And I must have got leg color mixed up, I thought the color was good but your right, they are on the greener side:(

First of all, that's not a Ameraucana it's an EE. She looks pullet to me.
Well white IS recognized so basically the leg color is the only thing that makes her a bad quality Ameraucana, therefore classified as an EE....Correct???

Correct

So just an update............ The white turned out to be a HEN!!!!:):):) And the grey/white was a roo. My aunt took him off my hands and gave him a good home:) so I still get to see how hes doing

a quick glance they looked like a pullet and with the coloring of the 2nd a cockerel lol if the 2nd had turned out to be a pullet i would have loved to see pics cause i havent seen a pullet that color before...you sure do get some pretty colors

and making me want a lot of them, i do need to expand my d'uccle and silkie flocks for my project.

Thanks, I will definitely admit I expanded my flock but have organized pretty well:) I have a 16X8 coop divided in 2. I have all my young D'uccles with a couple other breeds(Bantam Sumatras & G Sebrights) in 1 half and a mixed flock of anything random and different that I like. Thats where I have 3 EE hens, a crested blue polish roo, my silkie/Mille roo, a few assorted Sebrights. I will be adding anything that is not a d'uccle to this bunch when they are old enough. And regarding the D'uccle eggs, I will definitely let you know when they start laying!:)
