Hello all!
I'm new to the chicken world and have four chickens I got as chicks about 4 months ago. I got them from a local ranch lady who stated they were ameraucanas but not sure they look like it. They are also suppose to be females.
1. Sugar- she has such a fluffy neck and had a large fluffy beard *so cute, I just love her!*

2. Silver-she is grey with a couple random feathers on her feet and is beardless.

3. Cocoa- has a fluffy beard

4. Shaniqua- has a very fluffy beard and a few random feathers on her feet. She has been solid black till a couple weeks ago when I noticed her feathers have a beautiful green sheen to them!! I can't seem to capture it in a photograph but the shimmery green is becoming more prevalent as of late.

Any guesses or suggestions for what they might be would be appreciated!
PS this site is addictive! I've found myself staying up too late just too read "one more" thread! :)

They are Easter Eggers, and they look like pullets. Here is a picture of my cockerel at about 16 weeks old for you to compare comb development with. He's the red one.

They're all girls. #1, #3, and #4 are Easter Eggers. #2 is likely a beardless Easter Egger. What kind of comb does she have, single or pea? (your other girls all have pea combs, does hers match theirs, or is it definitely different?)

Very pretty girls! :)

Edited to add: When I zoomed in the pic, it definitely looks like a pea comb, which would make her an Easter Egger as well. Enjoy your green eggs and ham in a few weeks! ;)
