WHITE BLACK COPPER MARANS CHICK

Last Spring and summer I tried to incubate BCM shipped eggs without success. Finally a member told me to get two good adults and they would hatch eggs for me. She was so right! My hen hatched 8 babies and one is the rare WHITE CHICK. Thank you for all your help in the past and now I have two other hens setting. Such a good life

They are not albino, it is a recessive gene that causes them to have white plumage. No pink eyes

Oh well...

Im dure they still lay dark eggs depending on genetics

Seems like it should still lay a dark egg, the genes for egg color are separate from feather color (although in my mind, I expect the darkest colored Marans to lay the darkest eggs, I have a hard time getting past that. It shouldn't be the case, unless in selecting for some of the new colors people didn't also select for nice dark eggs). Anyway, you'll just have to find out and then let us know!
