white brahma still has feathers on feet

I don't exactly understand your question. Brahmas are supposed to have feathered feet. If anything, I would think they would help in a cold climate. Why do you need to pluck them?

Why would you pluck them? The Brahma breed is supposed to have feathering on their legs. While it can harbor scaly leg mites, the feathering probably helps keep them warmer in the winter.

Honestly I didn't know they were supposed to have feathered legs, surely it will help keep them warmer. I thank everyone for responding. Here in our interior Alaskan winter anything will help.
