White Breeds for Fibro Pen?

Recessive white takes a copy from both parents to show up white so no white birds. Recessive white also hides everything underneath it so depending on what other genes it has hard to say what the chicks would look like.
ACs should just be black and that covers a lot so odds are black chicks or black chicks that get leakage with age. Of course if the recessive white bird has blue or splash or barring etc. That stuff could show up.

What do you mean Leghorns have the barring gene? And how did you conclude they're sexable at hatch?
They're not sexable. I've heard the barring thing myself but from experience it sure doesn't seem true except in very, very rare cases.

I am in a zombie chicken group on Facebook. Their whole thing is that you can only call offspring from a ln AC Roo and WLH Hen a zombie. Everything else is something else. They say that F1 crosses are sexable at hatch with the females only showing Fibro and the males showing none.

This is correct because there is a sex linked gene involved with Fibro.

Here's my take and it's just my opinion. Nothing against you or your project. I'm a big advocate of projects.
First off I understand a lot of people in FB groups believe they're somehow special and their opinions should matter to everyone else because they are all knowing. I've found most are not really knowledgeable. Blame BYC because there's so many knowledgeable members here.
As far as what is or isn't a real "zombie" that's up for debate and not a debate I want in one. "Zombie" is just a name someone came up with some how some where. Those birds aren't a breed, just a project and with projects some people follow others duplicating the recipe and others change the recipe for personal reasons. Again they're not a breed so to each their own. Whether you want to follow someone else's ideas, use a name someone else assigned or do your own thing is up to you.
I'd assume if your active in the FB group it's not gonna set well to not fall in line.
So where you at? You have AC roosters and looking for options for dominate white breeds to pick up females from?
Why not go with WLs they're easy to find?
