White Christmas anyone?

We have a white Christmas here.

No snow here, just ice. My extended family canceled our annual gathering this evening. First time it's ever been canceled as far as i can remember, and I've been around a few years.

Thank goodness I have BYC to keep me company.

Nope. Was 55 degrees today and drizzled rain all day long. Ick. Still, I'd rather have this than snow. Had enough snow for a lifetime living in the west and midwest as an Air Force wife.

I've never awoken on Christmas morning to fresh snow. Ever!

We'll have a white Christmas her but it'll be slushy, slippery and gross. DBF and I helped a neighbor this afternoon move his van after it got stuck in the slush just 15 feet from his house. He had driven to the grocery store 3 blocks away.

Don't ask me why he drove 3 blocks instead of walking.

The sun peeked out for a few minutes this morning and I saw blue skies...then it started snowing again.
