White Christmas???

Here in newfoundland canada we have a few inches alot less then usual but white all the same and bitterly cold today.

We have had snow falling steadily for several hours.

Just started snowing here in Sandpoint Idaho last night

hasn't snowed since before Thanksgiving! So for the few of you that actually like snow, enjoy this pic I just snapped out our front door. And know that, along with the view, I've got the woodstove going, my St. Bernard cuddled up next to it and a big mug of coffee (with a splash of Baileys) in my hand right now. I love a White Christmas!!!

I was so looking forward to my first green Christmas ever in my young 30 yearsl.... It has been so warm here, we've broken records.

But It did snow yesterday, and a bit to come tonight.. So much for green Christmas. Oh well.. Now that I have 3 days off, gives us a dumping of a few feet. Kids will love it. And is I don't have to drive in it! Let it snow!

I WANT a white Chistmas, my first here in the foothills, but it ain't gonna happen. Unusual, they say. We MIGHT get snow by New Year's Eve. Not much in the forecast. I wanted to wake up to a white Christmas. OH well. I will live here many years, so I'm sure it will happen someday.
