I noticed today that our Maddie's (white cochin) comb and wattle are pale.
What do I do? Add Avia Charge to the water? Could it be from eating some privet leaves yesterday, will she be OK???? She's behaving normally otherwise.

Is it our heatwave? They have plenty of fresh water and lots of shade. It's hot and humid (87).

HELP!!!

My Leghorn hen yesterday was panting all day because it was so darned hot and her comb and wattles got really pale also...today, it's not as humid and she's not panting as much and they're back to the regular colour.
Panting, and holding their wings out help to cool them off. Also the blood vessels in their combs and wattles expand so that excess heat can get taken away too...

Thank you. The color seems to be coming back...let's hope all is well in the am...
