white comb

Does anyone know what this might be?
Her comb was always pretty droopy, but it is turning white. It feels soft, just discolored. It has not been very cold lately (I lived in northern NM). She is eating normally and acting normal, although she is opening her beak a lot (not sure if this is normal- I'm not home during the day usually).
I did find what appeared to be a cracked egg- there was a gooey yellow and clear substance in the coop, which I assumed was an egg, but there was no sign of a shell.

Thats nothing to worry about all of my hens with a floppy comb have some form of the white
