Not a White Cornish (One of my darks) but I'm really please with how well fleshed the bird is. Excuse the poor butchering. The guy who did the job butchered it, pun intended. I think this was one of my 6 month old cockerels. I really want to get some whites now (other than my single pullet).

Of the LF Dark Cornish eggs I hatched all were hens. The White Cornish most were roosters. 4 hens 9 roosters.

I got a nice balance. I think I’m just going to pair my white girl with one of my dark boys and see what I can get.

And likewise me with the dark hens.

Unfortunately I have one White Cornish rooster that turtles if he keep that up he will be turtle soup. So far I’ve been able to find him before he dies.

If I had one that routinely turtled, I would definitely cull him before he culled himself.

That’s the plan now. Besides if he can’t keep upright what’s the chances his offspring will. Plenty of others that are staying on their feet.

I have 3 little White Bresse I was able to hatch and another 12 eggs in the incubator now. Plan to get some white Cornish when I can.
