I was told they use Redbro females, and freedom rangers include multiple different crosses including: Redbro x Coloryeild Yellow, Redbro x Redbro, and Redbro x Tricolor. They also have black freedom Rangers that I'm not sure about the cross, and Kosher Kings, Redbro x Master Grey.

There is also the "Hamster" project inspired by the Toads.

So freaking hot, tomorrow is work... going to be cooking in this heat, thank god I get off before 3:00 most days. But had a few days to get used to normal living... lol, so 4 am wake up will be too soon and I am wide awake, got to feed and water birds in the dark... if this heat stays this hot I will need to get extra waterers because the last few days I have had to refill 3 times a day... new schedule I will get home earlier but I am worried. Don't like my girls to go thirsty. I had extra big one but it had to be tossed yesterday... so I will have to find time to get out to the feed store and buy extra waterers.

I added some extra protein sources to their feed, nuts, dried berries, sunflower seed I picked up shopping for humans at Wally World (feed store not near Wally World) as the feather quality on one is rough.

Stay cool folks, drink your H2O the heat kill.

FD,the silver down chicks are recessive? The red,bay and gray eye are also recessive. Ain't got a clue what it all means.lol

Yes, silver down chicks tend to be recessive white gene. But having said that, a white Cornish chick's down color is not a dependable gauge of the adult. And I'm not nearly educated enough to talk about eye colors relation to the gene soup..... about all I got is what iv seen watch'n birds grow out and make'n notes...
