White Crested with Growth on Head

I dont know a think about ducks so am I assuming she has missing parts (skull) and extra parts ? The bump reminded me of an oil gland and my imagination being what it is I thought parasitic twin. :gig:oops: Ya Im bored.
With that being said thought I think she is a very beautiful duck and I hope all is well w/ her.

Oh geez! How do I make a helmet for a duck? Lol.....do they sell such a thing somewhere?
Poor little LePoof...as if she didn't look ridiculous enough with that lopsided poof and extra side feathers...now she needs a helmet:lau:lol:
:lau:lol: I was only kidding but that poof is gonna take a beating.

Beware that females will also mount an go through the mating game too so you might have to make LePoof a helmet when breeding season gets in full swing. My 2 females:rolleyes:View attachment 1926213
you are 100% right. Just when I'm all in a snit worrying about the drakes over mating and ripping my girl's neck feathers out I turn around to see my females raping each other in the pool!

Feels mostly fatty. Not hard. It almost feels like a very large skin tag, like it's only connected by a very thin stalk and the rest of the growth is much wider/fatter than the area that is actually connected to her head. Not sure if that makes sense....

I've just seen a video @Aristocat123 posted in the duck lovers unite thread and noticed one of her beautiful crested girls also has a "beauty mark" like this. Hopefully its nothing to worry about
She’s had it since she was a baby. I think it’s part of the crest. She’s happy and healthy. She is the only female to 3 drakes and because I worry for her when mating season starts she’s going to live with a friend of mine.
