White Crust on Silkies Face

Hi there, I have a 9 Month Partridge Silkie Roo, he has
White Crusty Stuff around and under his eye's & beak.
None of the other Silkies have it. Any Ideas?

That doesn't sound good. Does he have any other symptoms such as spots on comb, sneezing, coughing, bad smell? What is his diet like?

No, No Other symptom. Eats fine, mostly on pellets. I'm just baffled. I tried to wash his face
"AS much as he would let me and its not really coming off." I'm wondering now if I should
isolate him away from the other kids. Good Grief Can all of These Kids Be Healthy Or Non-
Injured at one time???

I would start right away giving him poly-vi-sol w/o iron, 2 drops a day at his beak, and make sure his diet is really good--no scratch, no unhealthy treats, a little extra protein.

Try baby oil on the crusty areas. Could be a reaction to irritation from tiny mites. Dust her for the buggies also. I use sevin garden dust....
