White duck poop

I weighed my emu eggs today and Rick (the smaller one) is about 5g overweight and Daryl (the larger egg) is 3g underweight. I guessguess that's not too bad based on the fact their current weights are 606g and 654g.. I'm just going to leave the humidity where its at for now (around 40%) and see where we're at on Saturday when I weigh them.
I did another cooling test and the non-air cell end stayed nice and warm.... Good news. I also monitored for wriggling while I was waiting but nothing yet.

So exciting always a good sign when egg stays warm. Thanks for update.

And how is poop looking with your drake?

Still totally white today but there was some normal poo in the ducks house where he sleeps so I guess its fine. He's still eating, drinking, and courting his Cayuga friend (who I actually think is a male).
I thought he was a female because there was no curly tail. Its today there is a very slight curl in the tail and he started doing the burp mating call. I was hoping for a female.... For eggs and babies. NOW what am I going to do...? I guess I'll have to incubate more eggs.

Always an excuse right. LOL

Have you changed their feed or given them anything different? I know what my flock eats always shows up coming out the other end.

The only thing differedifferen is that I just started putting chopped oregano in their FF. Nothing else different.
I can't think that would make any difference in color of poop. I use oregano in my FF too. Well lets hope since he is acting normal[except for wooing the Cayuga who you think is a drake too] That all is well with him. Best hurry on those eggs. lol

If there is one it's not real easy to see.  But your sure it's a drake?

I don't really know. That's as curled as his (or her?) Tail feathers get. But I swear the other day he or she was doing the burp thing. Just not running around showing off. Hasn't done it since. I spend a lot of time with these guys and I feel like he or she acts more like a female. They're both almost 5 months old now so I should know but I don't. Do you think its a females?

I can't see any curl but maybe it's the color and lighting my eyes aren't so good any more but I enlarged it too. How does your Pekin act with this one? You should begin to see mating if they are 5 months old. My Runner drake is still mating with his girls all through this winter. They started at 4 months and they are 8 months old now.
