Hi all!

I have an otherwise absolutely beautiful Blue Orpington cockerel, which has developed white streaks on his earlobes.

Obviously this is a major fault, but I've never seen it before. Anyone have this happen to them? Any ideas where it comes from? Any thoughts on the likelihood of him passing it along?

Thanks in advance for any help you all can provide!

its possibel a cross

firstly there is no known breed as a blue orp

so what im gussing is its crossed with a white leghorn and lavender orp

that will tone the shade downa nd bring the sreaks of white earlobe

a pic would help decide better

If what you are seeing is pure enamel white it is a disqualification & he shouldn't be used for breeding. Also, regardless of what you may have heard Blue is a recognized variety of the Orpington breed.
