White egg from Buff Orpington

Have one laying Buff Orpington who is pretty regular at laying an egg every 30 hours or so. Went out this morning an no egg in nest. Looked around and found it smashed underneath her roosting bar which is in her run. Looks like she laid it while sitting on her roosting bar which is strange enough except that the egg was white. Comments and feedback needed.

Sounds like she laid prematurely and she did not dye her egg.

I would just keep an eye on her, hopefully this was just a glitch and she resumes laying normally.

I am hoping so. She is a good bird and a survivor because I lost 2 others to predators and 5 to disease. I am rasing 4 more BO and they will start laying in August. The breed is great and I like working with them. Thanks for your reply.
