Chill would be nice! The two leghorns I had before would fly at my face every time I walked into the run.

Yeah mine are pretty flighty. I try not to be within ten feet of them when I let them out to range in the morning because when they fly off the roost they are almost eye-level. I open the door, back up, wait for them to come out and then I go in to check things out

Smaller than a leghorn yes, but 95% of other breeds do.
Mine have sizable combs.

yes that’s true but I don’t want to try to sell someone on a breed I don’t have personal experience with. I think that even though they aren’t exactly what BreeShu is asking for they might fit the bill. They are worth considering in my opinion.

wyandottes have rose combs too but they also lay cream eggs
