White egg layers with tight combs?

Chill would be nice! The two leghorns I had before would fly at my face every time I walked into the run.
Yeah mine are pretty flighty. I try not to be within ten feet of them when I let them out to range in the morning because when they fly off the roost they are almost eye-level. I open the door, back up, wait for them to come out and then I go in to check things out

Smaller than a leghorn yes, but 95% of other breeds do.🤣
Mine have sizable combs.
😆 yes that’s true but I don’t want to try to sell someone on a breed I don’t have personal experience with. I think that even though they aren’t exactly what BreeShu is asking for they might fit the bill. They are worth considering in my opinion.
