White eggs

What kind of chicken lays white eggs?

my leghorns lay beautiful white eggs just about every day... however they are the most skittish of my flock. They don't like to snuggle.

Does anyone happen to know what breed is used for store bought eggs?

I believe most white store bought eggs are white leghorns because they are powerhouse egg layers.

yes you are correct white leghorns lay 95% of store eggs.
