I have one when it was a chick it looked just like yours it is now 7 mos. old I was told it was an Egger. She is very big and lays Very large eggs. She lays about 3 eggs a week. I was told Eggers come in different sizes and colors. She is larger than all my other chickens.

Might be an Orpington
here are my three chicks

yes they could be orpingtons too...it is really hard to tell the breeds apart at that age but I an sure on the colors...Original poster has a splash...and CarolinaHen has splash and blue....I am also sure they are not easter eggers...they just dont have that easter egger look...I believe they are a pure breed...it will be awhile before you know what breed they are for sure but at least you know what colors they are.

I don't have any pictures of our splash andulusians(sp?) when they were little but here they are now (except the hen, she disappeared.)

Enchilada

Mean Roo

Miss Blanch, she went missing :(

here is my 11 week old splash English Orpington pullet...and if you look close you can see her legs are a slate blue color...which looks like what your chicks are going to have...but andulusians have they same leg color.

here she is at just a few days old...notice her legs

and again at a couple weeks old
