Thank you. It now makes sense. When the hens were moulting we were supplying more protein since they needed more to reproduce new feathers and eggs during mother natures cruel winter joke. Darn...... I hate knowing we caused her health issue. Poor baby....I'll call our country vet to see if they have Nefrotec Vet liguid to start treating her in hopes that it has not caused kidney damage. In the meantime I'll give her 1/4 aspirin for pain. Once again thank you for enlightening me. I'll post her progress.
