My 1 year old jersey giant has had white poop "dredlocks" hanging off her butt for a few weeks now. It finally got warm enough that I gave her a good bath yesterday and to my surprise the gritty poop WILL NOT come off! It feels like sand or plaster. I soaked her really well yesterday and today and scrubbed as much as she'd tolerate and there's still residue; it didn't seem to soften with the soak either. I noticed that her vent was swollen and I saw it prolapse but it corrected itself. I couldn't feel an egg in the canal, but her abdomen feels hard... I couldn't feel a definite egg shape in there but I wasn't going to squeeze too much. I'm pretty sure she laid an egg day before yesterday. Any ideas on what's up?
