I have a rooster that has a white growth on his comb. It is very slowly getting larger. Very slow as in it has taken about 3 months to get where it is today. Anyone know what it might be and even better how to treat it?
Thanks,

It could be favus which is a fungus that occurs on the comb, wattles, and face, but it also may be dry skin or healing skin where he may have been injured. Get some Lotrimin (clotrimazole) or some Monistat 7 (miconazole) and apply it with a glove daily in case of favus.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. This should be interesting!! :)
