I have a small flock of Black Giants. Last weekend I was given three 6 month old white Java cockerals. I plan to get some more Javas, but I wonder if I could cross the white Javas with the black JGs and eventually breed back to pure Java.
The crosses, after producing each generation would go back to the BG flock until I had at least 7/8 Java.
The White Java and Black Giant mix should produce mostly black chicks with an occasional white sport.
I am going to get some more Javas but I thought in the meantime I could give the boys some company and try this fun project.
