In the Brooder
I have a duck that has an inflamed wing joint. It is swollen, warm and hard. I have no vet in my area that treats birds or poultry. I have separated her from the flock and have her set up comfortably on my deck out of the weather. I am not sure what I can do for her. I read somewhere that you can give ducks human antibiotics, but how would I even know what the dosage would be? It seems as though she is not eating either. I just need to know what I can do for her. I am worried that she is going to die.
