My California Whites are my best layers. They started laying at 23 weeks & have not slowed down with the winter weather or shorter days. They are calm, friendly & "mine" don't have floppy combs. I much prefer them to the Leghorns which, although they give me HUGE eggs, are too flightly for my taste.
