I bought 4 White Leghorn chicks! So cute! They are so tame and seem to enjoy being handled (unlike my crazy RIR's when I got them).

I love my white leghorns. They are pretty tame. They are curious and bright, and beautiful! If I had to choose just one breed for a flock, it might be leghorns. Thank goodness I don't have to, tho...

And I second the eggs....they are HUGE and awesome. They put my EE eggs to shame.

My leghorn did not want to be handled as a chick and she is still that way. That's my only complaint with her.

Thanks guys! They are the sweetest chicks, they like to snuggle! (And they really seem to like my rottweiler...maybe they think he's mom!

DF has also bought me two Americanas we'll be getting tomorrow. Two 10 month old hens. I'll be posting tomorrow!
