White Leghorn roo or hen??

Thanks all....getting excited now to start getting eggs. They are free range birds but I keep them locked up till about 11 am hoping they lay in the mornings and trying to get them used to their nesting boxes.

Well as told, two of the girls started laying last week. One uses the nesting box and the other uses my neighbors window well. I keep them in till 4 or 5 PM before letting them free range trying to get them to use the boxes but I guess there is no guarantee they will do so. Also, the eggs I am getting are tiny....smaller than a small size egg from the grocery store. We have gotten 8 thus far and no change in size. This seems to be normal from what I have read and the egg size should increase in time. I sure hope so!

Those are Hens for sure. All my leg horns have those big floppy combs and the slender bodies. The roosters stand very tall and would have large wattles by now. You will be getting eggs any day now.
