If anyone else was like me and wondered if their “pullets” they got from TSC we’re actually pullets this post might help sex your chicks. I purchased these 2 on July 2, 2020. They are 4 weeks old today. I questioned if they both were pullets from day one but the clerk assured me they were in the bin marked pullets so they were.....oh how he was wrong 🤦🏼‍♀️ The one in all of the pics that has a bigger comb, splotchy feathering, shorter wing and tail feathers is definitely a roo. I am posting a lot of pics from the 1st day I got them to just this morning. I hope this helps anyone else out there that may be questioning if they have pullets or roos 😊

You definitely have one pullet and one cockerel. Hatchery sexing is not always 100% accurate. TSC employees for the most part don't know what they are talking about and it is common to even get a different breed from their bins that what is advertised.

Thanks for your post showing pictures at different ages, it is very helpful.
I bought my first Leghorn chick today, the seller told me she's a girl about 8 weeks.
The problem is, this chick has a got bigger comb than my other 8-week chicks, who are not Leghorns.
What do Leghorn owners think of my chick ?

100% pullet. A Leghorn cockerel would have a comb 10x that size at 8 weeks.

Thank you beautiful duck !
Would you say 100% pullet too if the chick were 6 weeks old ?
I have doubts now because the chick is not really tall, about the height of a bantam cokerel
