White Marans Conundrum

We bought some eggs from a breeder in OH, we hatched our 2 "white Marans". There were clear differences in the two very early on. We had one pegged as a girl and the other was very obviously a boy. As they grew, (now 14-15) weeks we noticed our "girl" was looking very "boyish". I took this to the Marans thread and was told that our boy is in fact NOT a white Marans due to his yellow feet and beak. Which is confusing because the breeder who sold us the eggs has no other white chickens and we hatched them from the same dark brown colored eggs. Here is a picture of the breeder's birds....

As you can see even the girls have very large combs and waddles.

Here is a picture of our boy... He crows... we know he is a fella! He has the yellow feet and beak which apparently does not meet the Marans standard... how does this happen? He also seems to be rumpless?

And here is our "girl". Long tail feathers compared to the boy, pinker in comb and waddle but not my much. She picks the feathers off her own feet but you can see she has the pink/white feet and beak. Size wise, I would say she might be 1 lbs smaller. Legs look a hair smaller than the boys.

We have a guy coming to pick up our roosters today and we only want to keep one. I would HATE to get rid of the one with pink legs if she is actually a girl, as we have no dark egg layers.

Can anyone tell me what else I should be looking at for comparison?

Since they have so many differences it is really hard to compare them. Should I be looking for spurs this early? Shape of feathers in certain spots? Help a sister out!

I am not sure if they are true marans or not as I have never owned one but the one you think is a girl looks more like a boy then the one that has already crowed to me, but like I said I have never had one
