Morning all, old Miranda passed away peacefully overnight, sad, but saves me having to do the necessary.
Up until yesterday she was still eating happily and taking treats, she has had 3 more happy weeks than what she would have had if I had let the vet have their way.
Left with 2 now, that were rescued, once these 2 go, I will have a break from hen keeping for a while, let the garden recover a bit, and the pen grow wild for a while. Thanks for all the advice and input on this thread.
