Depends on what variety, but regardless, they don't feather in solid white.

I can testify to the fact that light brahmas are not solid white as chicks. Here's my 4 week old light brahma pullet she was a dark grey with that yellow face and is getting lighter all the time

All the feed stores here in california have white white Brahma chicks
