White patches on my chickens comb

Am quite new to chicken and poultry. I started this year around February. Got my first chicken which are called broilers in my country. Some passed on while young and I have been learning so much fro site n other too about using natural n organic food to keep them. I have six cockerels now. Come across BYC thru internet. I am small front yard poultry people. Also I have a snailery that keep. I love my chicken n do my best for them.

At present, my chickens developed white patches on their comb. I have bought a treatment that contains iodine, ascorbic acid n vit K that I want to start today. Pls can I spray some tincture of iodine on their comb for drying off the patches? Need urgent response. Thanks
