I have struggled to have a garden here in central Florida... Bugs, moles, heat, and drought or flood have destroyed my efforts every year, not to mention family problems that have kept me from planting correct things at correct times for the past two years. (Florida is backwards growing seasons for most things).

So this year, I did almost everything in containers, and I have only four tomato plants, and one summer squash. Of course, now they all have white powdery mildew!! :/

I sprinkled on cinnamon powder, quite liberally, and rubbed it gently into areas with mildew. I am giving it a couple of days, and then I will be trying the baking soda remedy.

Have you survived the powdery mildew? What was successful (and not) for you?
