Today a friend of mine showed up and gave me 25 quail eggs.
Her brother over ordered and they thought of me.

Only one problem.
I have never incubated quail eggs.

I was ready to set my RIR eggs today anyway so I cut back on the quantity of chicken eggs to make room for these little snow white pointy eggs.

The eggs are snow white and I mean pointy.
By describing the egg, can anyone tell me what kind of quail eggs these might be?

The eggs came from Lake Cumberland Game Bird Farm in Monticello Kentucky.

Any hint would be appreciated!!!

I found the supplier's web page and think by the egg size chart they are Northern Bobwhite.

Sorry for wasting web space on this site.

Oh yeah...
Does it take 21 days for them to hatch like chickens??

Thanks!!!

Bobwhites only takes 22-23 days to hatch, but you have to take it out the turner by 20 days. the incubator temp is 99.5 and the humidity is 60-65%. I know this because i have just hatch 120 bobwhites and they all hatch on the 22 days. and i mean all of them. i have 120 georia bob whites chicks everwhere. in the brooder of course. lol.......
