White rock and Barred rock

So I’m thinking about getting white rocks for meat birds. I currently have 40 chickens for eggs. I sell the eggs, adult roo’s, and baby chicks, and I wouldn’t want any cross breeding going on. I let my BR free range, so would I have to let them out at different times to prevent cross breeding? I wouldn’t want half BR half WR; that would be bad for my business because I only sell BR. Would I have to create a different coop? It’s very late where I am, so I will respond tomorrow.

That should work.

If you want 'pure' keep any other cocks away from hens for 3-4 weeks.

I think you would be happiest with a different coop/run. I just like my meat birds separate from my laying birds.

You are going to have a lot of roosters, that you will let grow up more...they will upset your laying birds. Just keep them totally separate would be best.
