One of my white rocks is laying eggs that are completely round and olive. When I say round, not like a perfect circle but rather that both ends look like the bottom and it's much closer to a circle than it is to the normal egg shape. Shells are thick and color is solid. What would cause this?

Do you have pictures of both the eggs, & bird in question?

Egg shape varies, and some birds do lay eggs like that, or very long eggs, and it happens fairly often. For hatching, it's best to select 'normal' shaped eggs. Otherwise, it's fine.
Your WR can't be purebred, she must have a blue egg layer in her pedigree somewhere.
Post photos, we are curious.
Did she come from a hatchery?

Here's a pic of two of them next to a normal wr egg. I have no idea which hen is laying these all I can say is which ever one it is has been consistent with size, shape and color.
