I was wondering if there is a way to tell the difference early on. I got 3 of these as White Rocks, but they have grown so much faster then the rest of the other breeds I have. Granted they may have been up to two weeks older than the rest, but they have gotten huge comparatively. I am worried I have meat birds at will be dying of heart attacks in a few weeks.

Sorry for the quality of pics, if I take the lid off, the White ones fly out!

They all look like white rocks, but it looks like you might have two boys. That may explain the growth and difference in size. The males will be larger than the females

I agree, they don't look to be meat birds. For one thing they NEVER fly. Two look to be cockerels.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad y'all agree they're Rocks, and I was thinking the same with the bigguns that they were cockerels. I hope one of them is a female. They are all pretty big. I also have a Lavender Orpington that us larger than the others. Guess I'll just wait till their saddle feathers come in. The Roos will be dinner!
