I suspect one of our 5-month-old chickens might be a roo. His/her waddle and comb have always been a little bit bigger and redder than her sister's (but only just a little). Also, her sister just started laying on Sunday and this one doesn't even squat. I was hoping an expert could chime in. Here's a couple pictures of him/her.

Thanks!

Pullet.

I have a batch of pullets hatched on the same day. One started a week ago, another today. Others may take as long as another two weeks.
Last year, we had a BR pullet 26 weeks to start. She was/is healthy in every way. Just individual differences.

YAY!! Thanks everyone! We're one of those people who can't have roosters, and only have four chickens to begin with. We would have been so bummed to lose her!
