White silkie question!

I have three silkies, two hens and a roo. One of my girls has black hints around her neck and black feathers around her tail. She is a full blooded silkie. I haven't seen any like her and wondered why she has black on her. Could she produce some black silkie chicks? I hoped byc folks could help me out! And I'd love to see some more pics of your silkies!

Interesting and pretty. Ive never seen this either, well not in whites... ( its common in buffs who have a black parent somewhere in the lines) In theory yes she should be able to give you black chicks, but not with a white rooster ( unless he also carries the gene ) and even then chances would be small. I would have suggested the genetics thing but since you've said that she is pure that rules it out . ( for the Silkie pics, there is some in my photos in my profile if you would like to see mine)

My white silkier has a bit of black in her feathers too. Her dad was black I believe, her brother is a paint with buff coming in around his neck/head. It's weird.
