I really really want your silkie roo. But, we are located more like NY side......with gas price, I don't think my husband's goint to say "OK". I really hope someone near you can take your roos. So, you dont have to cull them. I can feel your pain.....we used to have too many roos here too. And we had to get rid of some or them with many ways .....I guess everyone has a same problem! Are your seabrights roos as well? Don't get your hopes up (I sympathize; I'm trying to unload a black silkie roo myself) -- I'm in MA and trying to become rooster-free. But we have a seabright hen who is so sweet, and lays every single day (producing in volume more egg than hens twice her size!). Breeding Seabrights would be fun... but no, we're sick of "Squeaky" crowing and chasing the hens around. They're like college women being ardently pursued by a scrawny junior high boy -- ridiculous, but becoming annoying.
