Are your seabrights roos as well? Don't get your hopes up (I sympathize; I'm trying to unload a black silkie roo myself) -- I'm in MA and trying to become rooster-free. But we have a seabright hen who is so sweet, and lays every single day (producing in volume more egg than hens twice her size!). Breeding Seabrights would be fun... but no, we're sick of "Squeaky" crowing and chasing the hens around. They're like college women being ardently pursued by a scrawny junior high boy -- ridiculous, but becoming annoying.
