White silkies?

They're non bearded. Ugly little suckers too. Leggy and no fluff at all. Yes, they are hatchery stock, but still. I f I didn't know anything about silkies and those were the first ones I had seen, I would NEVER think of getting a silkie. My friend was trying to talk me into buying them to go with my flock of silkies. I was LMAO! I told her, those are not real silkies. LOL

JM Hatchery's white silkies are mostly all bearded. You have to order 15 chicks as the minimum, but they might throw some black or partridge chicks in with your whites.

Those are pretty good, comming from a hatchery.

That was when they were still feathering out. Their crests got so big that they got crestcuts. The only thing I didn't like is almost all mine had single combs not the walnut comb.

Some non bearded birds, including whites can have very good crests that can surpass those on bearded birds. Here are a few nice NBs.

OMG I can't believe those are Joel's silkies. His own pics on the site
looked like hatchery quality. We were gonna get a few as meat birds.
Now I will think twice.

Our own whites are small fluffy tribbles.
