My 3 month old Uma has a white spot in the corner of her eye. I've noticed since I got her at 1 month old.
Didn't think too much of it but a few days ago her eyelid was swollen and her eye was bothering her. She kept it closed a lot and tried rubbing it against her body.
It's improved now and almost back to normal.

But now I'm paying more attention to the spot. Not sure if its related or not.

It's bigger than when she was younger.

Any thoughts on what it is? Doesn't appear to be a foreign object/debris. I may try to have someone help me hold her and wipe it gently with a clean swab?

Same chick that was keeping her eye closed or different one?

To me, it looks like she has some type of debris stuck in the eye. Good idea to have someone help hold her while you work on the eye.

Good!:)
Let me know how it goes.
The vet did an eye stain and said she has a scratch going strait across her eye! So they gave us Terramycin ointment to use for 10 days (good call on your part you suggested the same thing!), and 2 days of Meloxicam to help with discomfort.

They say the white thing seems to a part of her eye that's just a different color! She has a similar but much smaller on her other eye too!

I'm glad the Vet was able to see her and give you some ointment and medication.

Hopefully the eyes will heal up quickly. Keep us posted.
