White spot

Three of my eight hens at 20 weeks have developed a white spot at the neck and growing. Any advice would sure be appreciated. Thank you.

Is it their earlobe? A bout an inch behind and below the eye? White, cream or blue layers will have white estlobes, brown layers will have red.
