My girl has white spots on one side of her pea comb. I just noticed them yesterday and they didn't seem to pick off. I have also noticed with her that her backside ( close to where she lays her eggs ) has no feathers. Her backside has been featherless for a while. I haven't see any of the other hens picking at it so I assumed she was picking her own feathers out to line the nesting box. She also will kind of do funny shaking of her head, and that has been going on for a while too. She is perky, eats and drinks well and lays a few eggs a week. Any idea what is going on with the white spots on her comb? I tried dusting her with Dia earth in case she had mites.
